Promote the general welfare of each individual through consistent use of Behavior Management tools. Maintain the facility through organization and proper upkeep of the program as set forth by the Supervisors.

Full-time evenings, including weekends.

This position requires a bachelors degree.  In addition, this position requires an acceptable driving record and use of an insured vehicle.

  • Responsible for general supervision of house, overseeing the daily, educational, physical, spiritual and emotional needs of each resident.
  • Maintain a daily log book of pertinent events, communicating important information or specific instructions to the shift instructions to shift partner and on-coming shift.
  • All critical matters must be conveyed directly to the supervisor.
  • Maintain financial accounts, behavior charts, goal sheets, phone log, visitor log, clothing ledger, incident reports, medical books and medicine dispense records and all documentation required by licensing.
  • Perform household tasks, such as, cooking, shopping, cleaning, small repairs and grounds maintenance.
  • Provide consistent counseling time for each resident.
  • Ensure that each resident receives routine and emergency medical treatment.
  • Provide crisis intervention in compliance with emergency policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the treatment recommendations and planning for each resident and address general house or staff issues.
  • Implement specific treatment recommendations set forth by the Director.
  • Perform and interact with residents consistent with the team's programmatic goals.
  • Meet with school personnel when necessary.
  • Overnight shift is to assure an atmosphere conducive to the residents' physical need for sleep.
  • Maintain positive communication with the Department of Children and Families, referral sources, parents and families, and community resources.
  • Administrative Adhere to performance standards, including completion of all paperwork in a professional manner within the designated time frames.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule including some evening and weekend work to accommodate the needs of the program.
  • Demonstrate professional responsibility in making effective use of individual supervision, agency resources and trainings.
  • Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
  • Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
  • Must regularly be able to see, speak and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, bend, use hands and arms and must occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be sensitive, flexible and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other special needs as reflected in the ability to communicate with staff and/or clients.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Assume an active role in fundraising events.
